Book Review: Delirium (Lauren Oliver)

Title: Delirium

Published 2012 by HarperCollins

Delirium mostly talks about how people think that love is a disease and before the scientists found the cure the people think that love was a good thing. Lauren, mostly talks about how far you'd go for love, for the person you really love.

In this book, Lena Holoway always looked forward to the day that she'll be finally cured. Since, a life without love is a life without pain. The government demands that all citizens in Portland should receive the cure once they turn eighteen since a life without love will make you safe, measured, predictable and happy. As predictable the story goes, Lena did the unthinkable, she falls in love.

You may think this is some cliche book but it's not, it's actually famous since you've probably seen this book since they really displayed this book. You will feel all sorts of feelings in this book: love, hate and pain. Lauren has strong characters, a portrait of the lives of teens in our society and a very detailed, dramatic, intriguing story. Read it for love, read it for hate, read it for pain.
