I love this book and it is really special to me and I consider Kiera my hero. I read this after a few months it was released and I was twelve that time. This book was basically the reason why I started to read more and more books until my room was filled with books. Kiera is one of the most brilliant authors since, the plot of her story was unique well, all books are unique. Every time I see The Selection on my bookshelf I just can't stop myself from remembering her remarkable book.

Let me introduce you to the protagonist in the book, America Singer, she's very brave, different from the others and she's never afraid to speak out her opinions. The red head is hot headed but full of talent. So, basically The Selection always happens when it's time for the prince to choose his wife to be with the help of The Selection. The people of Illea are divided into eight castes. The Ones are the royal family and so on. America is a five, fives are classically trained musicians and singers, all are artists, live theater actors, dancers, circus performers of any kind. Only one can be chosen for each caste out of  many ladies and America out of hundreds was chosen, with no choice despite her hatred for The Selection.

The Selection is like the Hunger Games minus the blood sport. This book is very charming, captivating and you really won't put the book down. There's just so many things to look forward in this book. I may have given a few spoilers but this book is just filled with the perfect amount of swoon and it never gets boring. This is another must read book but if you choose to not read this book it's a big no since the only valid problem is that you don't have enough money to buy the book then read online. You don't want to miss out on the fun. Read now before it gets too mainstream!
