SYNOPSIS
The long-awaited second book in the dystopian Matched trilogy.
In search of a future that may not exist and faced with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky - taken by the Society to his certain death - only to find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues in his wake. Cassia's quest leads her to question much of what she holds dear, even as she finds glimmers of a different life across the border. But as Cassia nears resolve and certainty about her future with Ky, an invitation for rebellion, an unexpected betrayal, and a surprise visit from Xander - who may hold the key to the uprising and, still, to Cassia's heart - change the game once again. Nothing is as expected on the edge of Society, where crosses and double crosses make the path more twisted than ever.

MY THOUGHTS
I basically took a long time reading this about 4 days maximum. Seriously?! I'm so disappointed, more disappointed than when I read Matched. If this book was a lot more fast-paced and had less poetry yeah it would've been okay.
I really thought the whole plot was very dragging and confusing. I have to be frank, Ally Condie cannot tell a good story. A story should draw you in with it's writing and that you'd feel like you're in adventure that will blow your mind, and Crossed did not do any of that.
It's boring VERY boring, I almost fell asleep while reading it. And the love story that Ally wrote in Crossed, was just no no no. I didn't like it at all.
I am sorry Condie but your story is very dull and confusing, I was just forcing myself to finish it, it was very torturous. Thus, this book deserves 1/5 stars.
